Across the year our church shares in moments that bring us together—times of celebration, reflection, and encouragement. Some mark significant points in the Christian story, others highlight the work of ministries and mission partners who help us see what God is doing beyond our own community. These special services invite us to pause, gather, and grow as we share in the life of our church and the wider world around us.
STICKS 2026
STICKS 2026 is back—and this year, we’re taking things to a whole new level. From 2–5 October, high schoolers from across Queensland will roll into Chinchilla for a long weekend packed with worship, adventure, friendship, and good old country fun. Designed especially for Grade 9–12 students, STICKS blends the best parts of a youth camp with the heart of a faith‑building retreat, creating a space where young people can unplug, breathe deep, and discover more of who God is calling them to be.
Across four unforgettable days, campers will dive into powerful worship, meaningful devotions, and small‑group conversations that spark real growth and real connection. When the sun’s up, the fun kicks into gear with camping under the stars, a lively bushdance, and the legendary Farmers Challenge—a favourite for anyone who loves teamwork, laughter, and a bit of friendly competition. And of course, no STICKS weekend is complete without boot scootin’, campfire singin’, and plenty of country‑themed surprises along the way.
With only 50 spots available, STICKS remains intentionally small so every student is known, supported, and encouraged. Whether someone is exploring faith for the first time or looking to go deeper, this is a place where they can step away from the noise, build lasting friendships, and experience God in a fresh and memorable way.
Registrations open, If you’re ready for a long weekend of dust, denim, discipleship, and down‑to‑earth fun, STICKS 2026 is the place to be.
